June 1-12 2026 Fishing Report: Reef & Offshore Action Heating Up in AMI!

It was an incredible two week on the water out of Holmes Beach, running a mix of reef, nearshore, and full-day offshore charters. Our 4-hour nearshore and reef trips stayed highly active, producing a steady bite of tasty panfish including Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Hogfish, Key West Grunts, and Porgies. We also tangled with plenty of short Red Grouper and some large, hard-fighting Gag Grouper that were safely released.

For the groups looking to go deep, our 8-Hour Offshore Charter really put it on the meat. We ran out into the Gulf of Mexico and targeted deeper structure, bringing home a healthy box of keeper-sized Red Grouper and jumbo Lane Snappers.

Captain's Tip: The Sandbar Sharks are out and heavily patrolling the reefs right now. When you hook into a big grouper or snapper, you have to button down the drag and reel fast to beat the tax man to the boat!
